Today at Chestnut Grove, we celebrated Stephen Morgan, our Technology, Engineering, and Design Teacher. Mr. Morgan represented Chestnut Grove as the Teacher of the Year in the District Competition. Today, district leaders came to our assembly to announce that Mr. Morgan has been named the Stokes County Schools 2025-2026 Teacher of the Year! Mr. Morgan will represent Stokes County Schools in regional competition. We are so proud of Mr. Morgan, and we greatly appreciate his dedication to the students and staff of Chestnut Grove Middle School! Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition!

📣 Congratulations to the 2025 Stokes County Schools Teacher of the Year: Mr. Stephen Morgan! 🍎🎉
With 19 years of experience in the classroom, Mr. Morgan brings passion, purpose, and perspective to everything he does. Each school year, he finds renewed motivation in the fresh start—a new group of students, new challenges, and new opportunities to introduce ideas they may have never considered before.
Inspired by his love of history and coaching, Mr. Morgan became a teacher to build meaningful relationships and help guide students toward their future goals. That commitment shows every day—like when a student shared she was so inspired by his class that she went out and bought woodworking tools to grow a new passion of her own.
Whether he's connecting classroom projects to real-world applications or sparking curiosity in unexpected ways, Mr. Morgan is making a lasting impact that reaches far beyond the walls of his classroom.
👏 Join us in celebrating Mr. Stephen Morgan—an educator who truly makes a difference!
